EPA Names American Standard a 2012 WaterSense® Partner of the Year

American Standard Brands earned a Manufacturer Partner of the Year Award for developing a WaterSense labeled toilet model that can be installed without tools. American Standard also toured the country with a display that demonstrates WaterSense labeled faucets, toilets, and showerheads.

WaterSense® Toilets

Conserve water and save money with every flush. Our WaterSense certified toilets are tested to have the highest flushing performance while saving water. On average, toilets are the main source of water use in the home. Choose from our FloWise® models which use 1.28 gallons per flush to save up to 20% water per flush or our Dual Flush models which offer an ultra water-saving “light” flush and a water-saving “heavy” flush to save 25% water on average.

WaterSense® Faucets

Water savings with style. Saving water can be as simple as changing a bathroom sink faucet. Our WaterSense certified bathroom sink faucets use up to 30% less water that traditional faucets which could add up to hundreds of gallons per year all without sacrificing performance. Since all of our bathroom sink faucets are WaterSense certified you won’t have to sacrifice style for water saving.

WaterSense® Showerheads

Less Water, High Performance, How refreshing. Showering is one of the largest uses of water in the home. Save water while still enjoying a great shower experience by choosing one of our WaterSense certified showerheads or hand showers. Our WaterSense certified FloWise® showerheads use our exclusive turbine technology to deliver an invigorating shower experience while saving water. These innovative shower heads and hand showers can save a family up to 8,000 gallons of water a year.

WaterSense® Urinal Flush Valves

Help reduce water use in commercial restrooms with one of our WaterSense certified urinal flush valves. To be Water Sense certified a urinal flush valves must use no more than 0.5 gallons of water per flush. Pair one of our Water Sense certified FloWise® urinal flush valves with our FloWise urinals to save as much as 87 percent water compared to older, non-water efficient combinations.
