Comments about American Standard Evolution 5' x 32" EverClean Air Bath with Apron:

I wanted a deep tub for soaking and thought the air bath would be relaxing. I find it to be too noisy with the compressor on, and the intermittent button does not seem to change air volume or frequency. I mostly enjoy it for the depth and full immersion into the bath.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I have two questions. on one of your answers yoou said the heater maintains water temp how does it do this in an air tub? is the water in an air tub being circulated?
    What is the sump depth of the tub with the deep soak vent?

      A:

      Heaters are for whe whirlpool tubs only. The heater maintains water temp. The air tubs blow air. the blown air out of the blower is heated to prevent the water from cooling. they are two different systems. The water depth to overflow on this tub is 18 1/2".

      A:

      #1 This unit does not include the heater. It is sold separately (EZ Heat-100).
      #2 It does require a separate, dedicated 15amp GFCI protected line.
      #3 It is a maintenance heater. It does not heat the water but maintains the temperature of water you put in the tub. When you turn on the pump the water flowing through the heater activates it and it will turn on and maintain water temperature up to 104 deg. F

      Yes, the 2425 series has a tile edge flange on 3 sides. If you need fewer flange sides, you can use the drop-in models with a tile bead kit.
