    I have a really tight space that I want to install a 36" x 36" shower. Does the door with the kit open into the shower? If not, do you sell a unit that does? What about a sliding door?

      Unfortunately American Standard does not offer a shower door that opens into the shower. The opening would be too small for a sliding door.

    I need a 36" x 36" shower unit to replace an old unit. The drain is centered a 18" x 18", in the exact center of the shower receptor. Does American Standard make a shower unit with the drain located at 18" x 18" of a 36" x 36" shower unit?

    it says when installing the shower walls that i need to put adhesive on the studs. do i need to put the adhesive all the way down the studs and push the wall against it? or do i just put the adhesive near the flanges? thanks.

      Yes, this kit uses the the 3636Y1.SW shower walls, so the shelves will be exactly the same. It will also include the built-in footrest, useful for anyone shaving their legs.
