  • Q:

    Can this base be used for an outdoor shower base on a wooden platform about three feet off the ground? I live in the DC area and we have winter freezing down to 10*. I would remove the trap during the cold months so the unit would drain dry after rain.

      Unfortunately this base is not intended to be installed within a block wall surround. This base is a direct to stud base. Assuming the setting contains a concrete floor, a Terrazzo base would be something to consider.

    I am remodeling a shower that previously had a 34x60 shower pan. We want to reduce the show to 34x48, however the drain will remain in the existing location; that is 30 inches to center from the faucet side (right side) and 18 inches from the left side. Do you manufacturer a base with the drain in this location?
