The AcryLUX® Collection is a new line of remarkably durable acrylic bath and shower products perfect for builder projects. The durable acrylic –capped ABS is fiberglass reinforced for maximum strength and makes it tough enough for jobsite handling. The acrylic surface has a beautiful, brilliant, scratch-resistant shine, is easy to clean and easy to repair scuffs and scratches.

    Can you send me a list of tub surrounds that have a window kit availabble. Also, I've seen top moulding features that are very decorative, but if a window is set such that it falls both above and below the moulding strip, can that moulding strip be cut without sacrificing the integrity of the surround.

      Any product can scuff and scratch. This product's surface is made of a very durable acrylic plastic. If it does get scuffs they can be removed with automobile wax or a mild buffing compound. Thank you.

    Will mold form in the corners.

    How far down is the top shelf from the top of the bath wall? Our bathtub area has a full size window and we want to make sure this wall set will work for us.

      If you click on the downloads tab and view/print out the specifications sheet you will see that the top shelf is 24" from the bottom of the panel and the lowest shelf is 8" from the bottom of the panel. So if I do the math correctly the top shelf would be 36" down from the top of the back bath wall panel.

  • Q:

    i want to install just the walls over my existing tub. Can i do it right over my tile or do i have to remove the tile to the bare studs ? Also i have a small window to cut our or the middle panel.. I understand that there is a kit out there for this.

      Hi Rocco,

      If your existing tub has a standard tile flange, which it probably does, then the Acrylux 60x32 walls will work with it. You will need to remove your existing walls down to the studs because the Acrylux back wall requires a full 60" rough opening.

      You can cut through the Acrylux walls with a standard jigsaw, but we do not currently offer a window kit. You may be able to use a generic trim kit, or you may find suitable trim at your local plumbing supply house.

      Hello,

      The best tub to use with this wall set is the Acrylux 6032Y1 bathtub or whirlpool. However, these walls can be used with any of our integral-apron, 60"x32" bathtubs or whirlpools.
