      Can the towel bar rod be shortened?
      Is the rod to hold the towels fixed to the wall bracket or is it loose so you can shorten if nessasary?

        A:

        If desired, the towel bar can be shortened. There are however notches in the towel bar that must be regrooved after the towel bar has been shortened. This notch locks the towel bar in position after installation.
