    faucet to be installed behind sink (has no faucet hole) by drilling a hole thru granite countertop ( will not use escutheon), what size hole is to be drilled for the two hoses and drain control. thanks

  • Q:

    I just installed two of these faucets and both have a slow leak underneath the sink near the gasket/locknut that tightens the drain body to the sink pulling tight the flange/white foam gasket that is on the topside of the sink. I'm afraid to tighten the locknut/gasket assembly underneath the sink to tight for fear of doing something to the flange/foam gasket. What do I do? Do I need plumber's putty or pipe thread tape?

      A:

      If the leak on the underside of the sink then it is likely due to one of two reasons. Either the gasket will need to be snugged up or the underside of the sink in the area of the drain is not flat and/or symmetrical.

    How do I clear a speed connect drain. the plug does not go down when the drain handle is pulled and I think it is because drain has debris.
