      We love the new faucet! It looks great, feels solid. It fits in well with our 1928 house, looks right for the period, but functions so much better than the faucets of that time. Our contractor who was remodeling the other bath installed it for us, so I can't comment on how easy or difficult it was to install.

        I got a faceut that looks a lot like americian standard but i don't know the little blue plactic insert in the hot handle has number 97354 i need the clear plastic insert. could use both if this is yours and if not would you know who manf.

        The gasket that goes to the pipe under the sink came off. Is it a screw on cap or does it have a washer that should be placed in it. Or should it be sealed and the sealant came loose? When I use the sink, water is leaking underneath. I think it has the metal speed connect pop-up faucet. Faucet is the Hampton MiniSpread Bathroom Faucet - Model #7471.712, 7471.732.

        For some reason, the hot water temp on THIS faucet is considerably lower than the hot water temp coming out from other HW taps in the same bathroom (ie, alternate sink, and in shower). My plumber and I cannot figure out why .... any clues? I have the Hampton series installed on both sinks in the bathroom.

          This faucet does not contain a temperature high limit feature. The temperature of the water flowing through the line is the temperature delivered at the spout.
