  • Q:

    What is the weight limit on the standard soaking walk-in tub that is 32X60? My mother is very large and I want to make sure this will not be an issue.
    Also, given her size and instability, I want to make sure she will have enough room to shut the door once she is in. Do you know the amount of space between the edge of the door and the seat?

      There is not necessarily a weight limit, but a size limit. The tubs were tested at 1500 pounds per square foot. The door is 17-5/8" inches wide, but the seat will probably be the deciding factor, it is approx 25". View the spec sheet that is available on the webpage.
