Comments about American Standard ACRYLUX 60" x 30" AFR Bath Tub:

This tub, which I purchased through [...], lived up to its advertising and more. It's depth and shape make it the most comfortable soaking tub I've ever used. It has very graceful lines and doesn't appear 'plasticy' like so many acrylics. It is also very substantial and sturdy - though lightweight and straightforward to install in a tight space in an old bathroom.

      • Q:

I am looking at 6030Y2A.102. which is listed as a deep soak tub. The measurements list height as 18" but the spec sheet says it is only 11" water depth to the overflow drain. Is that correct? My current tub is 14" exterior height with 10" water depth to the over-flow.

I am looking for a bath tub that can also be set up as a shower, can this one do that and have a shower door? I am looking for something a little nicer than the typical non-master bathtub. Any other suggestions.

      • Q:

What is the inside depth of the tub? Is this a extra deep tub?
Asked on 10/21/2010 by naybob from dearborn

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

          Hi Naybob,

The bathing well on this tub is approximately 15" deep. The bathing well is not extra deep. This is an above-floor-rough tub, which means the floor of the bathing well is raised 3" above the bathroom floor to leave room to run the drain line above the floor.
