The AcryLUX® Collection is a new line of remarkably durable acrylic bath and shower products perfect for builder projects. The durable acrylic –capped ABS is fiberglass reinforced for maximum strength and makes it tough enough for jobsite handling. The acrylic surface has a beautiful, brilliant, scratch-resistant shine, is easy to clean and easy to repair scuffs and scratches.

      6032BWC are shower walls but the Acrylux tub that is shown in the header does require a bed of mortar.

    There is no information on what type of drain will fit.
    would something with these specs fit? -

    1-3/8 in. Npsm (1-5/8 in. x 16 unc) fine thread drain plug body exterior

      I am not sure exactly what drain you are showing here but any conventional drain will fit this tub. The drain hole is drilled 2 1/8" and the overflow hole is drilled 2 1/2".     What type of sealer is safe and long lasting to seal the drain to this tub?
    The drain instructions say plumbers putty(caution,not on ABS).
    dont use oil base sealer.

  • Q:

    I am getting conflicting information about the installation requirements for this tub. I DO NOT WANT A TUB THAT REQUIRES A MORTAR BED. I read the on-line Installation Instructions which say that this tub can be placed directly on a level sub-floor without the need to set the tub onto a mortar bed. Yet, when I called my local Supplier they told me that American Standard REQUIRES this tub to be set onto a mortar bed. So which is it, this tub DOES NOT NEED A MORTAR BED OR THIS TUB REQUIRES A MORTAR BED??
