We added a heater to keep the water warm while circulating. I used this tub every day for the 4 years we had it. It relieved my back pain. It is a great tub.

    • Q:

What is the minimum (and recommended) trap and drain pipe size? (e.g. 1.5" min and 2.0" recommended)

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

You have to use the 1599 drain system on this tub because of the overflow holes being on the deck of the tub. The 1599 and all of our drains have a 1 1/2" pipe size.

I am looking at the Evolution 2425V-rho. What is the length from the end (where the overflow is) to the bottom of the incline of the back? I have long legs and am having difficulty finding a 60" soaking tub that is long enough.

    • Q:

What is the difference between a 2425VC and a 2425LC. I have printed all the specs and I cannot see a major difference between the two. There is a big difference in price but both seem to meet my needs so I want to know why I should spend more on the VC model.

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

There is no difference. The LC is a Home Depot number and the VC is for all other retailers and wholesalers. Thank you.

    • Q:

Where is the model/serial number label on this tub? Our pump has stopped working and I would like to call service.
Asked on 8/6/2011 by Karl from Memphis, TN

      1 answer

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

You can find the Model number, Serial number and Date of Manufacturing on two different stickers. One sticker in stuck to the back of your owner’s manual. It says on the sticker, “Do Not Discard, Leave with Homeowner”. The information will be on it. The other sticker is stuck to the return line pipe under the whirlpool by the motor access. The large pipe at the bottom of the pump will have the sticker stuck to it right after the 90 degree elbow. It is the UL sticker for the tub. That sticker will say “American Standard – For Indoor Use Only”. The bottom of that sticker will have the Model and Serial numbers and half way up the label will be a date.
