  • Q:

Hi we are looking at the Princeton 60x30 americast tub however there appear to be about a dozen different models and it's hard to understand which is which. Are there 2 different depths, i.e. is one 14" and the other 17" or are they the same depth but different height due to above/below floor mounting? The site makes it difficult to compare multiple model numbers, like the following which are all Princeton tubs: 2390.202, 2391.202 2393.202ICH, 2392.202ICH, 791130-0020A, 791165-0020A 2394.202ICH, 2395.202ICH, 791130-0020A, 791165-0020A

  • Q:

I am trying to purchase a Princeton tub and I am confused by the enormous number of part numbers with the same specs. There is a large price range as well. As an example, what is the difference between a 2390.202.020 and a 2396.202.020. Also what is the difference between a 2396.202.020 and a 2396.202ICH.202. I want a princeton tub and it doesn't have to be the best, but I would like to know what the difference is between the best and the mid-range. Thank you.

  • Q:

What is the crossbar that runs from the back of the tub to the bottom of the front apron made of? Is it a structural steel pole covered with the precast material? or just the precast material?

  • Q:

I'm trying to find a white Princeton tub in Americast, through floor mount (14") with Luxury Ledge AND Integral Overflow. One page says the 2395.202 (right outlet) has ledge & factory installed overflow while the specs and install pages show otherwise.
Does the 2395.202 meet my criteria?

      A:

      Hi Tom,

The model you want is the 2395ICH.202. The ICH designates integral drain & overflow in Chrome. You can also select the 2395IPB.202 for a polished brass overflow escutcheon and drain, or the 2395IBS.202 for brushed satin trim.

  • Q:

What does 'New intergral base' mean?
Asked on 9/9/2010 by HBandBB from Merced, CA

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The Princeton Americast tub has a composite backing material molded directly onto the backside of the tub. We recently modified the design to include a base that is molded right into the backing. This base allows the tub sit upright on the floor, and provides a variety of installation options.
