    • Q:

I am building a new house and want to understand if a Bidet requires a different size PVC pipe (below the finished floor) than a standard Toilet? In other words, does a "through-the-floor" bidet require the same "rough-in" as a standard Toilet?

What is more common in the US: through-the-floor or through-the-wall?

        A:

For details regarding the installation of this bidet, please refer to the spec sheet. The distance between the bidet and the toilet would be base on your preference and the amount of space desired between the two.

Is the Cadet bidet a vertical spray rim flush bidet?
Will the Moen Monticello function and fit with this bidet?
I have roughed in with the Kohler 4854 and I need to know if the customer can switch to this bidet since she now wants to use Monticello by Moen for faucets.

      Thank you.

Our bidets are unique to our bidet faucets so this model will not work with our bidet.

    • Q:

We have just purchased this bidet. Our experienced plumber has installed it twice so far and it leaks. Specifically, it leaks at the bottom point of interconnection between the transfer valve and the bidet body. The second install used silicon to try to ensure seal but despite giving the silicon time to cure, it still leaked.

When one examines the surface where the transfer valve rubber gasket needs to meet the bidet body (on the underside of the bidet), one sees that a seal will be very difficult to attain since the surface is not smooth and is marred by striations. Should I just return the bidet and request a new one or are they all like this?

      Your help will be appreciated.

I have the above bidet and it is probably an older model because I have owned it for many years. One of the connection hoses seems to have a leak. Where can I purchase replacement hoses?

We would first need to know the model number of the actual faucet to determine the part number required.

    • Q:

      Hi-
I was wondering what the center knob does? Is this the knob that controls the water flow from a spout in the center of the bottom of the bidet? Does it vary from just filling the bowl to creating a vertical stream?

      Thank you!
Asked on 6/23/2011 by Anonymous from NJ

      1 answer

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

The center knob transfers water from the vertical spray to the rim for washing down or filling the bidet.

      Hi-
Is the middle piece of the faucet fixture used to control the water flow/vertical height of the water?
I'm assuming with this model, the water comes from a spout in the bottom of the bowl, correct?

      Thank you!
