    Can the Declyn or Comrade lavatory sinks be installed off the wall with concealed arm carriers?

      These sinks are not specified to be installed off the wall. We do have the Roxalyn, which is designed for a 2" off wall installation.

  • Q:

    Washington DOH requires me to provide manufacturers specifications for a sink, showing it to be mounted with sufficient strength/stability to withstand downward static force of 1,000 pounds at the edge of the sink without breaking any caulks seals or cause any physical damage.

      A:

      IAPMO, the United States testing agency only requires a wall hung sink to meet a 250 lbs static load test. I am unfamilar with any other testing requirements that exceed this requirement.

  • Q:

    What is the dimension from top of rim to bottom of bowl 8" back from front edge. A 31" mounting height requires 24" knee clearance @ 8" off leading edge to be compliant. In field measuring the installed unit we have less than 24" with a 30 3/4" mounting height.

      You should call into the warranty / technical line at 1-800-442-1902 option 1-4-2 for in-depth diagnosis, although you may have answered your own question...mounted @ 31", yours as stated is not 31".

      All American Standard wall mounted vitreous china lavs, sinks and service sinks have been tested to, and comply with, the weight load requirement of ASME A112.19.2-2003, that being a 250lb load test.
