      No, unfortunately American Standard Brands wall hung water closets are not rated at 1,000lb. load capacity. Actually, the ASME standards which govern the design of such things (both vitreous china and stainless steel) only require 500lb. of force. In practice, those installations requiring the load rating of 1,000lbs. are better served by using a floor mounted toilet, or, when that is not an option, a wall mounted stainless steel unit, since the mode of failure with stainless steel is generally less harmful (bending vs. snapping)

      American Standard wall mounted vitreous china toilets have been tested to, and comply with, the weight load test requirements of ASME A112.19.2-2003, that being a 500 pound load test.
      It should be noted that this test load is applied in a static condition. Additionally, the test in intended to provide proof of structural integrity of the prouct to the applicable standard, and is not an implication of warranty. Actual failures due to weight loadings that can occur in actual use depend upon many factors beyond the control of the toilet manufacturer, such as the carrier, building materials employed, and other installation variables.
