        American Standard does not support the Vessel, you have to look at the Vessel for a phone number to call, because there are different manufactourers. followed the manual provided for trouble shooting, PSI water, checked inlet screen, line issues, does not work. Guess I will call the "Vessel Company". Standard only covers the shell, no inner parts. WOW

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          Can you tell me how noisy this unit is when flushed in comparison to a normal toilet. Can you hear it through the entire house?

            A:

            A pressure vessel is always slightly louder than a standard flush valve and flapper because of the pressure when flushed. The noise is not loud to be heard through out the house. It only last for a quick moment while being flused. Parts are availabe thru Sloan Flushmate which is who manufactures the vessels for us.

            A:

            The Cadet pressure assisted toilet comes in both 1.6 and 1.1 gallon per flush versions. There is a tank trimmed for 1.6gpf and a different tank model number trimmed for 1.1gpf.
            The same bowl will work for either tank--that's why it is called a "universal" bowl.

            If you have the pressure assisted toilet you will need to contact the make of the vessel in the tank such as Sloan, WDI or PF2. There should be a sticker on the vessel and a phone number to call.

            The primary measurement you will need to know is your rough in. This is the distance from the center of the outlet to the finished wall. If you are installing a toilet in a confined space, it may be benificial to consider the distance from the front of the toilet to the finished wall to aid in determining clearance for a door or other obstacle.
