      Quickly refills so any noise is minimized.
      The footprint was very close to the old toilet but the tank is narrower.

          I am thinking about purchasing model 2835. The 1.6 was demonstrated in the store and showed good flushing. I really need to have the lower volume of a 1.28due to septic issues. Can you state that the 1.28 has the same flushing capabilities of the 1.6?

          • A:

            I would buy the 1.6 Cadet 3 over the 1.28 just because I have used it with no complaints. It has never clogged. If 32 ounces of water is making that much of a difference you need to have your septic system worked on. You have drainage problems that needs to be addressed.

            A 1.28 gallon per flush toilet is not going to have as much force as the 1.6 gallon, since its flushing out less water. If the vents, and waste are completely clear prior to installing the 1.28gpf toilet, there should be no issue though with flushing.

            • M ake sure water supply is off. Remove valve TOP by lifting arm and rotating top and arm 1/8 turn
            counterclockwise, pressing down slightly on cap.
            • While holding a container over the uncapped VALVE to prevent splashing, turn water supply on and off a few times. Leave water supply off.
            • Replace TOP by engaging lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise. MAKE CERTAIN TIP IS TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION. VALVE MAY NOT TURN ON IF TOP IS NOT FULLY TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION.

            You are not able to convert a standard toilet to a pressure assisted unit. The tank to bowl connections are different. If you want to use pressure assisted toilets you will need to purchase the entire pressure assisted toilet.
