    Hi, I was wondering if this was ok to put in the dishwasher. I ran it through when I first got it, and now there is a gray residue on it that I can't seem to get off.

      A:

      This Colander should be hand washed with mild dish detergent and a soft cloth. A stainless steel cleaner should remove the gray residue on the colander and restore it to its original luster.
