      Comments about American Standard Stainless Steel Sink Strainer Drain:

      Have been using this pruduct for less than a year and the entire thing has turned a nasty dull brown colour. My previous sink drainers were some cheap make and didn't look as good as these at first, but they stayed silver for more than 10 years. I spent $80 on 2 of these drainners for my double sink and now have to replace them. Will not purchase American Standard again!!!!

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I purchased a 4320.024 SS sink drainer/drain by mail order and it came in a box without installation instructions. There are two gaskets included -- one cardboard and one made of a black elastomeric material. Do I use both gaskets when installing or is the cardboard gasket just included for shipping?

          The rubber gasket is installed on the underside of the sink first, the "cardboard" gasket is installed next and acts as a friction ring to prevent the black gasket from binding.
