I just installed this faucet and when I turn the tap off, water still runs for 1-2 seconds (slows down over this time and then stops). Can I adjust something so that it turns off as soon as I turn off the tap?

It is normal for the water that is in the neck of the spout to run an extra second or two until it is gone.

I had 2 Colony Soft faucets installed in my kitchen. It's a little over 2 years and it was leaking badly. The repairman removed the handle and it was totally corroded inside . Is there a warranty for this? (The repairman said he's never seen a 2 year old faucet in such condition. Please advise as I can't use the sink much in this condition and need it repaired soon.

              2475.500 Centerset Bar Sink Faucet
              Lever handles.

This faucet was installed in 2007. The faucet has been leaking since last week because the cold water handle can not turn off cold water completely, even though I turn the handle all the way to the end. How do I fix this problem? Do I need to replace the whole faucet set with a new one? Or the valve of the cold water handle needs to be changed? Where can I buy the parts? and how to replace it?

hello,i have this faucet or one much like it for two or possibly three years.recently the faucet at the base where you move it side to side is spewing water through the space between the coupling and the actual faucet where the water ultimately comes out from when you turn on the faucet.my question is what could be wrong?what kind of warranty does it have? is it repairable and at what cost or should a replacement be the answer? If replacement is required and if your company will not replace it i may consider a different brand for replacement if i must end up with that as my only solution.thanks for your time.

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

The piece that you are referring to is apart of the spout. It is not removeable. You must remove the entire spout.1. Turn the water supply off.
                2. Place a piece of felt around the base of the spout where the spout flange is and use and adjustable wrench to loosen.
                3. This spout flange is difficult to move, and may require that you take a vinegar and water solution to loosen any sediment that may have built up on the bottom of the faucet. In extreme build-up cases, you can try CLR, apply it, wait 1-2 minutes, and then thoroughly sponge the area off.
                4. After the spout flange is loosened, pull directly up on the spout to remove it. You may have to work the spout back and forth to loosen and pull it away from the threaded base.
                5. Take a vinegar and water solution to clean all parts of the gooseneck and the threaded base while the spout is off.
                6. Remove the old O-ring (you may have to cut it off) by pulling it off with a strong pair of needle nose.
                7. Apply the new O-ring (and clip, if provided)
                8. Place silicon-based plumber's grease on the O-ring.
                9. Put the spout back onto the cleaned threaded base.
                10. Tighten the spout nut or flange.
                11. Turn on the water.

Hello, we have a Heritage bar sink faucet, which has an extension of 9" on the spout head. I am told that the Colony Soft faucet is the only alternative spout that we could get which would have a smaller extension distance (7.75")
Can you confirm that the two spout heads are interchangable on the same faucet base. I am looking at ordering just the Colony replacement spout kit (M961738-YYYOA)
