Comments about American Standard Hampton Kitchen Faucet:

We had a plumber install the faucet, so we don't really know first-hand how easy the installation was. So far (it's only been about a month), there has been no problem and we like the faucet quite a lot.

After turning off water continues to flow for a couple seconds. They do shut off the flow, just delayed. I removed the washerless valve cartridges and attempted to clean them up. I reinstalled them and now no water will flow at all. I thought I might have reversed the hot and cold so I reversed them Still no flow. So now I have no water at all. What do I do

              Hello,

I have a set of Hampton kitchen faucets with metal cross handles. I obtained a new cartridge to fix a leak, but I can't get the old one out. I'm using a crescent wrench, and when I turn the metal base of the cartridge, it turns maybe one full turn, then freezes completely. Should I force it? What am I doing wrong?

                A:

You will need to use some WD-40 to loosen the valve and the valve should unthread out of the side valve.

I have the Hampton Kitchen Faucet and I know it came with a lifetime warranty. The base is corroding and looks bad. Is this covered by the warranty? I would assume it is. How do I get a replacement?

I have a Hamilton Dual Faucet with sprayer (Model 4048F). Water presser is super low and it's not the aerator. I removed the screw in the rear of the spout and removed the spout. How do I remove the diverter? Does it pry off or screw off?? AND, if it screws off, is it lefty looseee??

                A:

To remove the diverter you first have to remove the bushing, it's the grey plastic piece. It simply unthreads, and you are correct to the left. Once the bushing is removed you will be able to see the diverter, you need a flat tip screw driver to remove the diverter.
