      2 years ago we remodeled our kitchen. I wanted a faucet similar to a professional kitchen. I got it in ths faucet. We purchased the stainless steel due to our hard water that eats regular metal and have had only 1 problem. The hose would un-screw. Once we tightened it up we had no further problems. I love it because I can pull the head out of the holder and use the spray head to clean all three sinks.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Enjoy the look and functions of this faucet, but the plastic spout bushings cracked within two years. They were covered under warranty, but it took over a week to receive replacement parts.

        I originally purchased this type of kitchen faucet at IKEA for around $200. It looked great but leaked at the base of the handle; two years later it broke. Decided to pay more for a name brand faucet. Purchased this American Standard, it looks great, solid construction and easy to install. But it leaks at the base of the handle when you turn it on...otherwise I would be completely satisfied. Positive-A.S. has life long warranty and they honor their warranties.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            The handle was leaking, and American Standard sent me a replacement part. The handle is fine now, but the water flow is incredibly weak...it takes forever to fill a large pot. I did not have this problem with my prior faucet.

              You may need to clean the areator as it may be full of debris. This will cause the water flow to decrease. Or the cut off valve is not turned all the way on.

            Hi! I have this pekoe kitchen faucet and it's beautiful but I have found a problem. When I turn on the faucet everything it's ok with the stream mode but when I push the button for spray mode it simply does not work well because I must keep pressing the button, otherwise the stream function comes back. Thanks for the help

              A:

              This faucet should always start in stream, so if you shut it off while it is in spray model it should come back on it stream mode. The button to change it is on the spray assembly so I am not sure how it would work with a foot pedal.

              no the faucet itself does not swivel the sprayer detaches from the faucet so you can move the sprayer from on bowl to the other.

              If the water is still running when the faucet is turned off then you will need to replace the cartridge. If this faucet is new, it has a lifetime warranty on it, and customer service will gladly send you a replacement cartridge. Please contact customer service at 1-800-442-1902.
