    What a clunker!

      Installed by a professional, made a clunking noise (the diverter I'm told). We replaced the diverter twice and the cartridge once. Replaced the faucet with an identical one, it clunked too. Finally replaced with another brand and have no more problems.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      My review after six months of use:

      This faucet has many useful features. For example:

      - Long, extra-tall spout allows large containers and pots to be placed under it.

      - The spout can swivel can swivel all the way to the side, allowing complete access to the sink.

      - The chrome finish is attractive and is more corrosion-resistant than certain other finishes.

      - Cartridges with ceramic valves are superior to rubber seals (like those in some Delta faucets)

      - Lifetime warranty

      The only con that I can detect after extended usage:

      - The chrome finish is slightly less scratch-resistant than the brushed finish. There is some minor swirling, although one must look carefully to see it. One would have to use some effort (e.g. scrubbing very hard with a scouring pad) to make noticeable marks in the finish.

      Overall, this is an ideal faucet for a typical kitchen. It displays a mix of excellent design and well-thought out features. Also, the price will not hurt your wallet too much.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I have a reliant faucet and have a leak at the base below the handle. I have replaced the 3 orings under the spacer as well as the cartridge. Still have the leak. Is it possible to over tighten the screws and cause damage or leaking around the seals? Also, any other thoughts on fixing the leak?

            The faucet leaks out of the head only when the spray handle is in use. The leak is a regular stream of water coming out of the faucet head. I've replaced the cartridge and aerator and the leak is still there. How do I repair this leak?

              By restricting handle rotation and limiting the amount of hot water allowed to mix with the cold, the HOT LIMIT SAFETY STOP reduces risk of accidental scalding. To set the maximum hot water temperature of your faucets, all you need to do is adjust the setting on the HOT LIMIT SAFETY STOP. Use a flat blade screwdriver or your fingers to pull up and rotate red HOT LIMIT SAFETY STOP to adjust min./max. discharge temperature. "0" being the hottest to "7" the coldest temperature setting. Factory set at "0".
