During the 1970s, more than 17 million new homes were built in the U.S., which means there is an abundance of split-level and ranch style homes that need updating today. Many of these homes were designed with small sinks, odd-sized tubs, small windows and dark earthy décor that can feel downright cave-like in comparison to today’s modern home.
