Launched in partnership with the Green Education Foundation (GEF), this exciting program turns students’ own schools into teaching tools that demonstrate the attributes and benefits of green building. In addition, it provides opportunities that extend beyond learning, with the capacity to generate real cost savings for schools on their water usage.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

American Standard Brands partners with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop and test a low-cost, prefabricated toilet system that is more hygienic, easier to install, and easier to maintain to help the nearly 40 percent of the world’s population that lack adequate sanitation facilities. American Standard engineers will work in collaboration with the Gates Foundation’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Strategy, and the International Development Enterprises (iDE), to develop the new toilet system.
