American Standard Expands Dual Flush Toilet Offerings with Sleek New Luxury Performance Styles

Elegant, Modern Boulevard® and Studio® Models Achieve WaterSense® Criteria, Deliver 1,000 MaP Flushing Results

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 8, 2011) — Saving water in luxurious comfort and style is easier than ever with the new Boulevard^® and Studio^®dual flush toilets from American Standard. These luxury performance (LXP) toilets offer users the choice between a standard 1.6 gallons per flush (gpf) for solids or a reduced 1.1 gpf for liquids, meeting WaterSense^®criteria for using 20 percent less water than standard models while offering superior flushing performance.

Design matched to complement the rest of the bold, Bauhaus-inspired fixtures in the complete Boulevard Collection, this dual flush toilet is a one-piece, elongated Right Height^® model.

The Studio models — elongated and round front, both in the Right Height configuration — boast a clean, modern look achieved with the simple geometry reflected in their matching collection of bathroom fixtures and furnishings.

Using the innovative, siphonic-action PowerWash^® technology from American Standard, these two LXP toilets offer optimum performance that ensures both a powerful flush and superior bowl cleaning, every time. Both the Boulevard and Studio dual flush toilets have been independently rated to flush as much as 1,000 grams of solid waste —the highest possible score in the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, an independent report of toilet bulk removal performance.

Maintaining the attractive looks of these new dual flush toilets is a breeze with the EverClean^®permanent finish that inhibits the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold
and mildew on the surface. Moreover, with no hard-to-clean curves, the smooth-sided concealed-trapway design is not only beautiful, but easier to maintain.

These toilets include a top-mounting slow-close toilet seat and cover, with an easy
lift-off feature for simple removal and reattachment for cleaning. The two-button chrome actuator on top of the tank allows the choice of the appropriate flush.
