New Top Mount Monterrey Commercial Kitchen Faucets are Ideal for Healthcare, Education and Institutional Applications
American Standard Extends Success of Commercial Collection with Popular Features and Options
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 8, 2012) — Designed for the healthcare, education and institutional markets, the new Monterrey® top mount commercial kitchen faucet collection from American Standard combines heavy-duty solid brass construction with popular features and a full range of flexible spout options.
The new collection features dependable, drip-free ceramic disc valves and a range of spout options that includes:
• 8 inch tubular swivel spout
• 5 inch field-convertible rigid/swivel gooseneck with remote valve option
• 8 inch field-convertible rigid/swivel gooseneck
• 8 inch field-convertible rigid/swivel gooseneck with laminar flow device in base.
All faucet models in the Monterrey commercial kitchen faucet collection feature a 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) water conserving outlet that delivers a 32 percent water savings when compared to a standard 2.2 gpm aerator.
They exceed compliance with the 2010 California Green Building Standards (CALGreen) Code, which limits flow to less than 1.8 gpm. Most models are available with vandal-resistant lever or wrist blade handles and an optional side spray.
Ideal for healthcare applications, one of the 8 inch gooseneck models (64098.180) includes a 1.5 gpm pressure compensating laminar flow device in the spout base that prevents air and microbes from being drawn into the water stream. It also has a plain spout end that eliminates areas for lime and debris to collect and for bacteria to grow.
The entire Monterrey commercial collection — including commercial lavatory and kitchen styles — is equipped with washerless ceramic disc valves for a lifetime of water-saving, drip-free performance. In addition, all Monterrey faucets are ADA-compliant and meet all federal and state regulatory standards for ‘lead free’ plumbing fixtures.\
Suggested list prices for these commercial kitchen faucets range from $228 to $350. Consistent with the complete American Standard commercial faucet line, this Monterrey collection is covered by a five-year warranty.
