      A:

Please contact our customer care line at 1-800-442-1902, prompts 1 and 4 with your toilet tank model number. To find the model number of the toilet, look into the tank along the back wall. Impressed, engraved or stamped into the china will be a four-digit number starting with a “2” or “4”. If you have a one piece toilet will begin with the number “2” and will be 4 digits long. If you have a two piece toilet your model number will begin with the number “4” and will be 4 digits long. Manufacturing date is located inside the tank.

Have the Lexington one Piece built in Costa Rica where we live. Unit not flushing well at all. No funnel occurs, water almost over flows, then slowly dissappears to below normal water level.
Have cleaned out all small and large wholes below rim properly, snaked all ports both directions! Still not working correctly??????????????? HELP

It will likely be necessary to inspect the venting in the vicinity of the toilet. Plugged venting can be the root cause of this type of issue.

  • Q:

I have what I believe is the model 2037 but I have a actuator on the front left side (lever). The Flapper assembly has the number 738103. It has been continually leaking probably where it seats on the bottom of the tank. I probably need a whole new flush valve assembly. The flapper seems OK but I replaced it with another but the leaking continues. Please advise #s of replacement flush valve assembly.

  • Q:

I have replaced the rubber disc on the water control mounting kit, but water still leaks. I am scared to tighten the brass nut too much in fear of cracking the tank. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

You may want to remove the flush valve from the tank and inspect the area that the flush valve seats into. If there is any debris or residuals from the previous valve, this can prevent the replacement valve from properly seating.

  • Q:

I need flappers for New Lexington toilets marked 2037 (ordered as 2037.100) produced September 2007 at plant 71. Existing dark gray flappers are marked 738003. Plumbing websites list several Lexington and New Lexington models with different model # flappers, so I need clarification. Thanks.

  • Q:

I have a similar looking model of this toilet. It was installed in 1991. After some years of use the thing does not flush well.I was told by plumbers that these earlier models had an unglazed throat where the waste went through. As a result the waste is impeded on the rough surface and therefore you have to stand by the toilet and flush it twice in order to make sure waster material goes down. True or False? Can anything be done about this problem?
