Loud flush
By Lee
from Beverly MA
This toilet is for the main bathroom in the house. It abuts the bedroom. When flushed, the toilet makes a loud thunk noise and disturbs the person sleeping in the next room. Within a few weeks of installation the bowl exposed a large chip out of the bottom of the bowl. Thanks to customer service they shipped me a new bowl free of charge.
Problem with flush valve
By Dave

Orginial style flush valve does not always work. A later style valve was sent as a replacement. I don't want to install it. Another toliet I have does not work well with the new style valve.
The Best Toilet Since The A.S. 4.5 GPF
By Rick the Plumber
from Frederick, Maryland
About Me Professional
I replaced our 25 year old American Standard toilets 3 years ago, and because I am a plumber and worked on all types of toilets for the past 30 plus years and found that these toilets (Champion 4)are the best flushing and maintenance free toilet I have worked with.(Only problem with maintenance free is they are bad for my buisness, no call backs or repairs). I just put a new addition on my house and I have already bought the same toilet to put in the new bathroom (Champion 4 elongated toilet right hieght). The first champion 4 toilets had a little problem the flush valves, but they have fixed this and I have not had any sevice call's or problems with the new designed flush valves.
