      Comments about American Standard Evolution 6' x 36" Deep Soak Bath Tub:

      We were looking for a non-whirlpool tub that was deep enough to actually soak in, not just the lower 8 inches. this tub is perfect for what we wanted, maybe a little too big, but we're not exactly big people. I love it! It's very comfortable to just lean back and relax.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          You do have to order the drain/overflow separately from the list of model numbers that work with it.

          No, the drains are sold separately. This tub takes the 1599 drain. It is the only drain that fits this tub. You would order it in the finish you want. Thank you.

        How do I get the adhesive from the label off the tub?

          A:

          Get some automobile wax and rub it into the adhesive. Then immediately go back over the area with a thicker coat of the wax. Let the thicker coat of wax stand overnight or for a few hours. Buff clean with a soft cloth. Thank you.

        i bought this tub and it arrived with three holes. could i use a set of faucets like the Hansgrohe 04128000 Focus S Double Handle Tub Faucet or is there not enough room between the holes to accommodate this set?

          The three holes on the deck are not faucet holes. They are the overflow holes for the tub drain. You tub requires the 1599 “Over The Rim” drain. It enables you to fill you tub higher than a conventional tub.

        If using in an alcove tub-shower situation, is there a problem not having a tile flange? Does the Tile Bead Kit provide a reliable seal instead? Is the bottom of this tub textured? Do you have another suggestion for a tub choice in tub-shower application in this larger size?

          The bottom of the tub does have a textured finish. We do not offer a 6’ tub with a built on tile flange. The Universal Tile Bead Kit 751755-100 will act as a tile flange for this tub. Thank you.
