We bought three of these faucets in 2006. One gets heavy use, one moderate use and the third light use. They have all held up well and are easy to keep clean and new looking. Ours have not required any repairs and they do not drip. I still love this faucet as much as I did when we picked it out.

I have had this faucet since 2000 and still looks as new as the day we put it in. It is in the downstairs bathroom where everyone uses it. It has just started to drip and will call customer service about the cartridge replacement. Have had this problem before with another faucet and had no problem with the free cartridge replacemnt.

Comments about American Standard Williamsburg Centerset Bathroom Faucet:

We've had this for about 5 years. It worked fine at the start. It started dripping a few months ago. When we finally got around to fix it, we couldn't find the cartridge in the local home improvement stores [...] We would have to find a plumbing store, or buy it online, and it was pretty expensive. (For another $20 we could just buy a brand new faucet, which is just what we did.) It needs to be easier (and cheaper) to fix.

            • Q:

I have a Williamsburg 2904 series, 4” center faucet that leaks around the drain assembly (PN: M952410-2240A). The hole through the sink is 1.5” and the drain assembly is 1.25”. No parts were provided to accommodate the larger drain hole in the sink and it leaks where the drain assembly contacts the sink.

Hello - The hot water handle dripped so I called parts department. They sent me two cartridges. I too tried and could not loosen the old one so I called a plumber. Finally got it out and the new one installed. Then the cold water leaked around the base and we replaced that cartridge. Worked fine for several months but now they're dripping again. This is ridiculous. They only last several months now? I need help now as the Holidays are here and I need water in the bathroom now.

I would make sure that there is no debris underneath the aerator, other than that debris must be building up in the cartridge, call the warranty / technical line for replacements.

what faucets are compatable with old american standard cast iron bathroom sinks?

I just tryed to install a williamsburg and the center hole on the sink is small. I unscrewed the speed connect from the faucet and feed it up thru the sink...however...the speed connect is not in line with the hot and cold...so it cant be screwed back on.

what faucets have the drain in line with the H&C holes for the sink? so it can be used on old bath sinks?

              John

I have emailed for tech before and no responce...not very happy with service thus far.

All of our current bathroom faucets have the speed connect drain. It does not sound like you are going to be able to use the speed connect drain, as the cable generally goes in at an angle.

                A:

To find your model number, the model number should be located on your receipt, installation instructions, or information
book which came with your model. If you are not sure of your model or series number, then you will need to look on our American Standard website at www.americanstandard-us.com. Look under the Kitchen Faucets or Bathroom Faucets and find the one that identifies your model (note the color may be different). Double click on the small picture, and it will expand into a larger one. Scroll down on the left-hand side and under the DOWNLOADS tab should be spec sheets, installation instructions or a repair parts diagram. Click on one of these files and look for the model or series number at the top of the page. If your model has several, just choose the first four-digit number.

If you cannot find any model which represents your faucet, you can call the Technical Customer Service line so that a representative can give you an address to send a picture of the faucet. If you need us to find the model number, you may call Technical Customer Service at 1-800-442-1902, and then press option 1 for Consumer, then option 1 for Technical Support. Our office is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., EST and Saturday 8am - 3pm. Be prepared to have your month/year of purchase, color/finish of model, name, street address and phone number. Any of our qualified technical customer service representatives will be glad to assist you.
