Does the handheld piece detach from the slidebar to, say, wash & rinse off my dog - then replace it on the slidebar. Thank you, David.

  • Q:

I have the Berwick collection diverter valve that has both volume and temp control. Before I finish the custom shower I wanted to really make it special. I wanted this shower head, the 8" rain shower head (1660.680), and two extender round sprays (1660.130). I think I would also need an additional valve like the Berwick diverter valve trim kit (T430.430). If I get the R430 3 way valve to go with the T430, could I make: 1. control the shower head above 2. control the rain shower and 3.control the dual extender round sprays? Am I on the right track? Will all of these work in my proposed setup?

  • Q:

What on/off w/volume control and temperature control valves (stainless steel) can be used with this (1662.743) shower kit?

Is there a (stainless) kit that includes the shower head, bar, flex hose and valve?

    Thanks.

  • Q:

What other product will I need to order in tandem with this one?
    Will I need a dual on/off volume control/thermostat set?

      A:

That depends on what you already have. You do not necessarily need a thermostatic valve. This will work with a pressure balance valve. If you plan to have an additional showerhead or other shower ourlet, you will need a diverter valve. If you do use this with a thermostatic valve, you will need at a minimum of 1 on/off volume control for each shower outlet in the system. You should consult you plumber to find the combination that is right for your needs.
