Q:
Hello, I have an American Standard Heritage one piece power flush toilet (white) installed 1998. I need a new toilet seat. Would the replacement be the 5357.016.020? The existing toilet seat is fine structurally, however, it developed black marks on it(almost like finger prints) and I can't clean them off . I tried soft scrub and even straight bleach but to no avail. Any thoughts on how to clean these spots before I spend the $ to buy a new toilet seat. Thank you.

  The 5357.016.020 is the correct seat for this toilet. Please avoid the use of abrasive cleaning agents such as soft scrub. Such products create microgrooves on the surface and will permanently damage the finish.
