    i want to install this toilet in bathroom that has had tile installed AROUND the old bowl. approx size is 9"x17 1/2"...also hight must fit under a 30" ledge...so hight should be approx 28 1/2. will this model be ok?

      This bowl will not work, it's height is too close to the 30" to still access the internal tank components.

  • Q:

    I'm trying to figure out what flushing lever I need for my tank. The tank number did not imprint correctly. It reads TANK 4 2. The two numbers between the 4 and the 2 are missing. The tank is rounded on the front corners and the flushing handle is on the left side. I think it could be a 7381004-XXX0A - Trip Lever. We installed the tank in 1999.

      In order for us to better assist you we will need to contact our customer service department at 1-800-442-1902 dial prompt 1 then 1 again with your 4 digit tank model number.
      To find the model number of the toilet, look into the tank along the back wall. Impressed, engraved or stamped into the china will be a four-digit number starting with a “2” or “4”. If you have a one piece toilet your model number will begin with the number “2” and will be four digits long. ”. If you have a two piece toilet your model number will begin with the number “4” and will be four digits long. The manufacturing date is also inside the tank. We will also need to know if you have a 1.6gpf or a 1.28gpf.

    I have one of these. Seems fine mostly. However, when I turn on the main water line after a vacation shut down there is a loud bang at the toilet on first flush. I'm not sure why the pressure does not release the way it does for my other(more conventional) toilets. Do I need to adjust something ?

      A:

      Floor mounted toilets are all tested and pass the ASME standard test for static load up to 500 pounds.
      However, the chinaware on a floor mounted toilet is very strong and will support loads much higher than the test standard. This shouldn't be a concern for a floor mounted toilet.

    I'm trying to find out about the different flushing technologies available. Do you have a dual flush option that uses a different flow rate for solids v. liquids? (I'd be interested in a description of each type of flushing technology available - I wasn't able to find this on the site). Thanks!
