  • Q:

Changed the seat disk on my model 4055 toilet. Still leaks even after putting vaseline on disk. Also the ballcock assembly is model 3142 and it leaks as it nears the water line. Also stains on floor at bottom of bowl. Unit is over 20 years old. Should I replace all parts and where can I get a full parts list?

The blue seal that is in your toilet is the only style valve that is available for the champion line.If you have hard water or if you are using intank cleaners these issues will cause the seals to warp and leak.

  • Q:

I have a one-piece American Standard toilet. The water continues to leak out and the toilet runs periodically. I have replaced the flapper with a universal one and it still leaks. The numbers engraved inside the tank are 041099-3. What am I missing?

      A:

Please contact our customer care line at 1-800-442-1902, prompts 1 and 4. We will need the model number of your toilet tank please. To find the model number of the toilet, look into the tank along the back wall. Impressed, engraved or stamped into the china will be a four-digit number starting with a “2” or “4”. If you have a one piece toilet will begin with the number “2” and will be 4 digits long. If you have a two piece toilet your model number will begin with the number “4” and will be 4 digits long. Manufacturing date is located inside the tank.
