    I have a toilet with 4260 marked inside the tank. There is a tower type flush valve. I believe it is a Champion model but I'm not sure. There was a slow water leak into the bowl. While feeling around the base of the tower to try to figure out where the leak was and how to tighten the seal, the entire unit came lose. I can't find anything that looks like it on your web site. Help! We need this unit fixed!

    Could you provide the correct flush valve part number to fit a Cadet 3 model 3305 which is apparently made exclusively for Lowes? It has a 4021 tank but, unlike other 4021 models, came equipped with an adjustable float flapper and a taller flush valve than other 4021's allowing it to fill the tank to a depth of approximately 7 inches producing a flush that is more powerful than the typical Cadet 3. It is rated as a 1.28 gal./flush.

  • Q:

    I have an american standard toilet. It has a newer flush mechanism where the overflow tower is combined with the flapper valve. When you turn the handle a piston in the center rises and pulls the tower flapper valve up. PROBLEM a half second after the handle is turned and the tower rises it falls back down again giving maybe a 30% flush. Holding the handle up does nothing as the tower/flapper has already fallen closed. How does someone fix or replace this tower?

      You are describing a Champion 4 flush valve. It is probably flushing correctly, because the flush valve is 4", 1.6 gallons of water leaves the tanks extremely fast. The tank will not empty because it is only allowed to use 1.6 gallons. You can call into the warranty / technical line for further information at 1-800-442-1902 options 1-4-2.
