Q:
I have an American Standard (laundry room) white faucet w/ spray.
It is beginning to leak beneath the bolt cap. Three screws hold the cartridge down. Inside the lever head is number A916740.
The installation time was 1999-2000. Great service w/this unit.
I need further information, perhaps a parts pictorial, and faucet ID so I can order parts.

Q:
I have a shower handle that is leaking. We took it apart and it appears to be leaking from the cartidge. The only number we could find on the unit was 1015. It is a polish bronze faucet. No one around here sells the parts. Can you help locate what I need to replace unit.

i have an american standard single lever kitchen faucet with spray,
not sure what cartridge it needs, i believe it's either a COLONY or
RELIANT model, cartridge uses 3 screws, faucet has a life time
warranty, could you tell me what cartridge i need,

I just replaced all rusty pipes with copper pipes and did a test run and there is on hot water coming to the shower,cold is good.Could you help me.I also have a new catridge.

  You need to make sure that both the hot water and cold water are both on, the unit will not work unless you have water pressure to both sides.

Q:
Hello
I received the replacement cartridge, once I puled out the old cartridge, I cleaned the base with a stiff nylon brush. But once I put the new cartridge in, it still leaks. I don't want to tighten the bolt too much. I also try to tighten them evenly. I was not sent or told about any other material that I would need.

Q:
I have a single control AS kitchen faucet. It looks like a reliant. It leaks around the handle when it is turned on. I can't find the set screw to remove the handle. Where exactly is it located and how should the handle be positioned to access the screw? Also, what do I need to replace to stop the leaking?

  You will need to turn the water off to the faucet and lift the handle to the on position. You should have an index button on the handle remove the index button the 3-32 allan screw will be right there. If the faucet is leaking you will need a new cartridge and spout seal kit which you may order by calling 1-800-442-1902 dial prompt 1 and 4 for customer service.

  This is not an American Standard part number, but the faucet parts are not marked with any kind of model number or part number. Q:
I installed a new shower faucet back in 1999/2000. It started leaking behind the wall pretty bad. I can't tell if it's the cartridge or PBU, so I wanted to replace both. I can't find the paperwork so I don't know the model #. The PBU and cartridge look like many different units on your website and I can't find the whole faucet listed either (the handle only rotates clockwise/counterclockwise. It does not lift up like the newer models). The only thing I have is a sticker on the cartridge:
