  • Q:

According to your website, this faucet has an adjustable hot water limit control, but I received no instructions with this faucet what so ever, on how to do this. Also, there were no installation instructions, just the parts. How do you adjust the how water limit? Thanks.

  • Q:

After installing a 9026.502 unit in a not-yet-built shower, I tested the unit by first turning on the cold water feed and turning the shower handle ... got water out of the shower head pipe ... good! Turned off the cold feed and turned on the hot feed, then turned on the shower handle ... nothing out of the shower head pipe. Read through the instructions and didn't see anything related to what I thought might be a defective unit. Cut the hot water feed above the cutoff valve to see if I had hot water pressure, and I did. Would it be correct to assume the internals of the unit will entirely cut off the hot water if there's no cold water pressure? If this indication is normal, it would be nice to know, since I'm a DIYer and haven't dealt with temperature stabilizing units before. Perhaps enlightening us during the testing step of your instructions would be a good idea. Please let me know if my testing indications are, in fact, expected and normal. Thanks.

      A:

in order for the faucet to function properly, both the hot and cold water must be turned on at the supply. This allows the pressure balancing unit to function.
