                I have specified AS for decades and purchased this from the local showroom. When I went to install it did match the display. Handles were
                plated PLASTIC and parts were no longer included.
                This would wear, scrub off and quickly break - plus not the solid "feel" you would expect.
                Makes me want to spec Kohler from now on, or have the sales rep. bring it by for pre-approval.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                      I called customer service and they helpfully sent me the parts that were included on the diagram but not in the box: Union 1/2" NPT, part number M950010-0070A. However, the union is not very tight, even after cranking it down very tightly, and I am afraid it is going to leak. Shouldn't there be some sort of a washer with the union? It just appears to have a small metal band inside it. If I need a washer, what size? Thanks for your help.

                      good morning,
                      i recently asked question reguarding pressure at tub spout.
                      the answer was that there is most likly debrie in vavle body.
                      i am sure you are right cause most of plumbing was replaced do to rusted old gal. pipes.
                      i removed handle valves and got full pressure from there and water flow is better but still not even close to what i think it should be.

                      shouldn't water flow to tub spout be almost full flow .

                      how do i fix with out opening wall ?
                      i dont think there's any valve in main body . as this was a cheaper plumbing fixture and was all welded tubing. not a welded/ threaded body fitting.

                        i recently installed one in a older manufacured home with galvanized plumbing and when i first turned the water on almost instantly lost all preasure. in the tee of the valve body where the water goes up to the shower head or down to the tub spout there is a plastic flow restrictor that i had to remove. you have to open the walls to get to it though sorry!

                        The flow rate of this faucet at the tub spout will vary based on pressure. This may vary from 10 gallons per minute a 20 PSI to as much as 20 gallons per minute at 80 PSI. Unfortunately it may necessary to access the valve to inspect for larger obstructions within the valve body.
