    The product works great for a year. Then things start to go wrong...The shower head starts leaking, the diverter only only works if you hold it while trying to shower. Then, the cartridge gives out. repair parts are nonexistent. You are etter off using a couple of buckets to take a shower...

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      When turning the shower handle to hot the water bearely gets warm. Then at times it will change by itself to hot. There is hot water at the sink (next to it)at all times. I purchased and replaced the cylinder (part right behind the handle) but the problem remains. What else can i do? Thank you.

    • Q:

      Ceramix shower makes a loud rattling noise when the lever handle is turned toward and running the hot side only. Sounds normal when running cold, but as soon as the lever is turned past the centerline and toward the hot side, the rattling sound is heard. Happens regardless of diverter position. Any ideas?

      Re.; CERAMIX Diverter Spout (023572-002OA)
      Need instructions on how to replace the Repair Kit 012653-002OA (The diverter now fails to remain in the "Shower" position. It does not sticks up).
      In particular how to remove the existing Knob-Shaft after removing the "lock washer" at the bottom of the shaft, it would not pull out of the black plastic washer.
      Is there a detailed diagram explaining the sequence and manner to disassemble.

      I am having a problem with my single control presure balancing bath/shower set. when shutting off the water on other faucets and using the washing machine I get a klunk or bang. I believe it is the pressure balance unit ie the spool moving in the sleeve. I have installed shock arresters by the valves with not much relief. This has happened over time and I get this noise in each shower that I have these valves in. These valves are used as a shower valve only. installed in 2002.

        If there are stops on the valve, you can try closing them slightly to reduce the water pressure. You can also try to replace the pressure balance valve.

      i have a old American Standard in a spec book that I need to match up 2000.402, I think the new # is T000.502 but I need to know for sure and have something in writing if at all possible

      We have two of these shower heads. One in a shower and the other in a tub/shower combo. We have very limited flow on the shower only head and the tub/shower head flows freely.

      Can I take the head apart to clean it out, and if so do you have any instructions I could download.

        Limited maintenance is possible within the showerhead body. Soaking with white vinegar should disolve the particles causing the restriction within the showerhead

      In 1991 we installed Model 2000.101 in our sink and Model 2000.301.099 in our shower both in polished brass. Both have discolored and we're wondering if it's possible to purchase just the trim kits for both in any finish.
