About This Product

  • Cast brass valve body
  • Single unit contains two handles
  • Bottom lever handle sets the desired temperature and the top handle functions as an on/off volume control
  • Temperature is maintained by a wax element moving a shuttle valve between hot and cold
  • Volume is controlled by twin ceramic disc valve cartridges
  • Includes Hot Limit Safety Stop
  • Maximum temperature is 112 degrees F
  • Escutcheon plate is stamped brass
  • Available with 1/2" or 3/4" NPT inlets and outlets
  • Valve has a high flow rate ideal for multiple outlet installations

    Green Tea Central Thermostat with Volume control
    The handle for the hot and cold only rotates to the right. Did I install something incorrectly?

      A:

      Assuming you have align the temperature calibration unit in accordance with the installation instructions, The control will rotate counterclockwise from cold to hot when starting in the 6 o'clock position.

    I am interested in the Green Tea 2-handle thermostatic valve system. Is there a way that i can operate two shower heads with individual volume controls and be in operation at the same time?

      A:

      It is possible to configure your shower system as described. Depending on the amount of water pressure you have, you may want to opt to the R540 valve. It is a 3/4" valve capable of delivering a larger volume of water per minute.
