    Comments about American Standard Moments Bath / Shower Trim Kits:

    The sleek, timeless beauty of the Moments trim kit is what caught my eye with this product. Once I learned about it and installed it, I liked all of the kid safety features.

    The single handle makes turning on and adjusting the water easy, this is ultra important for kids to be able to control the faucet themselves.

    The Hot Limit Safety Stop and pressure balance ensures my kids will never get scaled. This is important for anyone but especially kids. You can set the temp max for the faucet for safety.

    It works very well, my kids enjoy being big kids at ages 4 & 6 because they can operate it themselves.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    • Q:

      I have two showers I need equipment for. One is a bath/shower and the other is a shower only. I would like to install a Moments style kit into each, one with the Bath/Shower Trim Kit and one without the bath spout. Is the correct valve assy a R120SS? (I'd like pressure and temperature control.)
      In addition, I'd like to install a Wand Kit consisting of the wand and a wall mounted bar in each shower. What diverter would you suggest? Would the R120SS still be adequate if I add the hand held wand?

        A:

        The R110 valve is a Temperature Control valve, it turns the water on and off and adjusts the temperature. The R120 valve is a Volume & Temperature vavle that gives you the added benifit of adjusting the flow of water from a trickle to full force.

      Shower does not stay hot. Have to keep adjusting handle hotter and hotter as shower continues. Can it be a bad cartridge/discs? I only have the handle which regulates the all-in-one handheld shower/bar.

        Normally this is not a situation that would be related to the operation of the faucet. However, you may want to try replacing the pressure balancing unit.
