        When properly installed, should all of the handles on this trim kit point "down" when in the off position?

          A:

          Specifically, the volume control (top) handle should be facing down when in the off position. The temperature control handle position will depend on where the setting is when finished. It can however be returned to the 6 oclock position if desired.

          No, you will need to purchase the diverter valve seperately, However you can use the serin trim on the diverter also so that everything matches.

          The levers are not labelled. The top handle is the volume control handle and the bottom is the temperature control handle.

          The %520 and R540 two handle thermostatic valve operate the temperature control and volume control. The R420 would needd to be purchased in addition to this valve to operate the hand held shower and showerhead individually.
