    I purchased the Serin Bath/Shower Trim Kit, Satin Nickel, the 1/2 in. Metal Pressure-Balanced Rough Valve, and the shower system. If I want to be able to turn on either shower head individually, do I just one of these given that the trim kit comes with a an on/off diverter?

  • Q:

    I have a american standard shower, that needs too be replaced. The one I have has a separate lever, that controls the volume of water coming out. It is a single lever valve and a water lever under it, just like the valve on the shower heads. I do not see them any more do they still make them?

      We offer two main style of valves. Pressure Balance valves and Thermostatic Valves. It sounds like you may be describing a thermostatic unit. View the R510/530 valve.

    I am interested in using this lever trim piece with a free standing tub filler. Is this a pressure balance control or is it only a volume control to be used with a thermostatic as I am not interested in using any other functions just basic on and off and controlling the temperature with this single lever. Thank you!

      No, this is not a pressure balance control. You are correct that it is only a volume control to be used with a thermostatic valve. If you need a pressure balance valve only, take a look at the T064500 Series + the R110 Rough Valve.
