    My reliant model shower valve no longer provides adequate flow to the shower head, even with the head removed. There is plenty of flow to the tub spout. There is a lot of high pressure spray forcing its way past the diverter on the spout.

    I have a Reliant 1495 series bath and shower fitting. Is there a diagram showing the valve component assembly?

  • Q:

    I've had a model similar to this for 4 years.
    Over the past year, it does not accurately control the initial temperature, unless I move the handle all the way to full hot, then I get a hammering sound, and then I get full hot. I then have to back the handle down to the proper temp.
    I have followed the 'Service' advise from the manual. I've removed the cartridge and cleaned it along with the manifold inlets.
    No change.
    Please help.
