Wax Thermostatic Unit: Permits shuttle valve to move between the hot and cold seats to maintain the pre-selected constant water temperature.

Adjustable Hot Limit Safety Stop: Limits the amount of hot water allowed to mix with cold. Reduces the risk of accidental scalding. Maximum water temperature limit may be reduced to 104 or 109 degrees Fahrenheit.

      I am trying to put a shower together and it is quite the learning process. The intent is to have a rain shower from the ceiling, a wall mounted hand-held spray shower on the bar thing, and the ability to go from either/or or both water sources.

      This is what I have on my list so far:

      American Standard 2064.724.002 Serin Complete Shower System Kit, Polished Chrome

      American Standard T064.740.002 Serin Two Handle Thermostat Trim Kit with Separate Volume Control, Metal Knob Handles, Polished Chrome

      American Standard T064.430.002 Serin Diverter Trim Kit, Metal Knob Handle (Valve Not Included), Polished Chrome

      American Standard R430 Three Way In-Wall Rough Diverter Valve, Controls Water Flow between Three Outlets

      And I am not sure if I need the R520 or R540 Rough-in valve.

      Am I on the right track? Am I buying the right things? Am I buying too much, too little? Do these all go together?
