    Need to replace 2 cracked toilet seats on my American Standard toilets. The bolts which hold the seat to the tank are 10 inches apart center to center...having difficulty finding a replacement with this bolt pattern can you help please? Thanks

      Seats do not ususally have specification sheets as almost all seats are of a standard size. Elongated toilet seats are 18.5" long by 14" wide. The attachement holes are on 5.5" centers. Round toilet seats are 16.5" long by 14" wide. The attachement holes are on 5.5" centers.

      There are two ways possible. the cover either simply unsnaps to expose the bolt or the cover will twist and the entire seat with the hinges are removed exposing the bolts.
