I have just started using the Cadet 3 toilets after switching from the Toto Drake. The toilet is not only less expensive than the Drake, but the new packaging and easy to install connection has cut down on my overall labor of putting in a toilet. Not to mention the sanitary dam that goes around each side of the bowl making tightening the tank on the bowl virtually impossible to over tightening and breaking.

This toilet cost extra because its a 10" model and not readily available at big box stores. i would never recommend this model to anyone! It seriously will not flush any kind of waste and ALWAYS takes more than one flush to clean the bowl if it doesnt back up!

Q:
When I flush this toilet the flapper only stays open to let out 1/2 of the water in the tank. I am unsure that this is normal and if this setting will clear out solid water without having to re-flush. Also when I hold down the lever in order to keep the flap open it seems to not have the same power in the flush

  This particular toilet is not designed to release all water from the tank. With the water level in the tank flapper chain properly adjusted, the toilet will function effectively.
