I had so much problem with low flow toilets including the Cadet model.
After so much searching I decided to give American standard a second chance.

This model has the look plus a 4 in flush valve...
It works every time for the last 3 months.

The only complaint I have is it has too little water in the bowl. Stools stuck to the side some time.. well it beats having to unclog the toilet..

I just bought another one online last night .

Q:
Hi, Our toilet will not fill back up with water. The black plastic 2-piece "bulb" on the fluidmaster water tower is in 2 pieces and the bottom piece keeps falling down (off the top piece), which seems to be the reason it won't re-fill. (When I force the bottom piece back on, toilet fills up and works for maybe one more flush. Then the bottom falls off again and it won't refill.) Do I need to replace something? (Hopefully not the entire tower?) Toilet is only 18 months old.

  I found no problem with the toilet cleanliness. I clean the bowl only twice a month because it stays clean.

  You can remove the water restrictor which will allow more water into the bowl and help with this issue. Remove the refill tube from the fill valve and inside that hole will be a small plastic piece that you can simply pull out and discard.

  The 2034 is right height (16 1/2") and the 2004 is regular height (15").

  It is not available in California because it is 1.6 gpf, california requires 1.28 gpf toilets, and this toilet does not have a flushing system that meets this requirement.

Q:
I have an 11.5" rough-in. The Champion 4 Elongated one-piece looks like it would work, reducing the 1" clearance from the base of tank from 1" to 1/2". Is there something I am not considering that would prevent this toilet from being installed in an 11.5" rough-in?

  By all accounts this toilet will install. However, there may be no clearance and this could contribute to the wall behind the tank sweating.

  You will need to locate the exact model number of your toilet in order to get the correct parts. The tank model is located on the back inside wall of the tank and will be four digits long. If you have a one-piece toilet that number will begin with the number 2 and if you have a two piece toilet that number will begin with a 4. If may also be located on the repair part label that is on the underside of your tank lid (if still attached).

Q:
My Chanpion toilet is in a back to back instalationon on the main floor of a condiminium with a concrete pad with no basement. The unit leaks water and refills to its normal level about every ten minutes. I have dried the bowl at the inlet holes,waited for the unit to refil and rechecked the inlet holes which were still dry. No water appears to be leaking into the bowl. Help?
